Uncovering the Lost Urn of Edward Hain

The Exploration Society has received word that a diary belonging to Victorian shipping magnate Edward Hain was discovered at Treloyhan Manor. The diary tells of a ship which returned from the Mediterranean carrying a unique urn rumoured to have belonged to the Greek god Zeus! Scared of what would happen if his crew realised the true value of the artefact, Hain buried it in the dunes somewhere between Lelant and St Ives. Luckily, he left clues and a map in his diary pointing to its hidden home. We need you, our greatest adventurer, to solve the clues and locate this amazing lost relic.

The Trail starts at Lelant Saltings car park and takes you along part of the South West Coast Path, through Carbis Bay before finishing at St Ives. Return to the start using the local bus services, or the St Ives Bay railway branch line, described as one of the most scenic railway lines in England.
