The locals of Castle Cary have stumbled upon a curious map, hidden inside a bottle dredged from the depths of the Horsepond. Believing it to be a treasure map, the town's leading local, Iva Foundit, has enlisted the help of the Treasure Exploration Agency (TEA) to uncover the secrets of the map.

But so far, no one has been able to solve the clues and pinpoint the location of the treasure. That's where YOU come in, our most intrepid explorers! Will YOU be able to swill out the dregs, read the leaves, and bag the answer?

Treasure Hunt Through Castle Cary

Looking for a fun day out with family and friends in Castle Cary? Look no further than this self-guided Treasure Hunt Trail through the town and its beautiful gardens. The Trail starts at Millbrook Gardens and takes you on a journey through the town's historic buildings and lovely small town of individual character.

As you follow the Trail, keep an eye out for sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments. And don't forget to stop and admire one of the town's unique Roundhouse Lock-ups - one of only four remaining in the area.
